Anne Hathaway, who is well known for The Devil Wears Prada, candidly opened up about her outfit that didn’t end up in final cut of second installment.
The 43-year-old American actress remembered her experience with wardrobe during her last visit to the red carpet at the Euro premiere of the film.
The star noted that she loved, "a Phoebe Philo T-shirt, train thing," worn by her famous role, Andy Sachs.
Hathaway stressed, "I loved it so much," that the director David Frankel had to call to inform her it was cut prior to her seeing the film.
"He's like, 'It's gone,'" she recollected. Notably, the Verity star was photographed styling the ensemble while filming in New York City earlier in July 2025.
The look was completed with white T-shirt with a flowing train, white cropped pants and pointy-toe shoes.
In the conversation, Hathaway shared that both she and Andy have both grown since the first film in 2006.
Andy, portrayal by the highest paid performer is now an award-winning investigative reporter after two decades.
"20 years ago, Andy Sachs was really worried about getting it right," the artist quipped plot from the prequel.
She went on to explain the change, "Now I think that she wants to be herself, and I relate to that."
It is worth noting that the Oscar winning artist career is on another breakthrough with the 2026 edition.
Her upcoming novel based film, Verity has sent book fans into a frenzy as they line up for the psychological thriller.
