Tessa Thompson, Ebon Moss-Bachrach lands dark new role in haunting drama

Hollywood is cooking up a chilling new thriller and it’s bringing together some serious star power. 

Tessa Thompson and Ebon Moss-Bachrach are set to share the screen in Foxfinder, a dark and twisted psychological drama that’s already turning heads.

The Creed favourite and The Bear standout will be joined by rising young talent Owen Cooper in the big-screen adaptation of Dawn King’s award-winning play. 

Directed by Aoife McArdle, the film promises to deliver a haunting look at fear, control and creeping paranoia.

Set on a struggling farm, the story follows a grieving couple whose fragile world begins to unravel when a mysterious government official arrives, tasked with hunting down an unlikely enemy and that is a fox. 

But as suspicion grows and strict rules tighten, love gives way to distrust and reality itself begins to blur in unsettling ways.

Filming is due to kick off in Germany this summer, with producers already hailing the project as both “epic” and deeply thought-provoking. 

Backers behind the film believe its themes of scapegoating and societal pressure feel eerily relevant in today’s world.

And Tessa isn’t slowing down anytime soon. 

Fresh off this announcement, the 42-year-old star is also gearing up to lead A Separation, an adaptation of Katie Kitamura’s bestselling novel, directed by Jonas Carpignano. 

The gripping story follows a woman searching for her missing husband in Greece, diving deep into love, loss and the mysteries of intimacy.
