Noah Kahan is swapping sold-out arenas for quiet days back in Vermont, joking that he slips into “Hannah Montana mode” when the spotlight fades.

The 29-year-old Stick Season singer says he leaves the fame behind and heads home to wife Brenna Nolan, where life feels completely normal again.

He told E! News that he’s lucky to have a grounded life outside music, saying: “I have an amazing family and a lovely wife and a whole life outside of music that allows me to feel grounded.

Every time I go home to Vermont my family immediately grounds me in the best way.”

He added with a laugh, “I go Hannah Montana mode, you know? Like, I take the wig off and then I just be myself.”

The Dial Drunk singer says switching off from fame has never been too difficult, insisting he can step away from the chaos of touring and public attention when needed.

He explained, “I’ve always found it easy to kind of disconnect which is nice.”

Noah has also spoken openly about his struggles with body dysmorphia, depression and anxiety, saying being honest has helped him feel more connected to fans.

He said it allows him to share his experiences without filter: “It means I can just be me, and I’m very grateful for that.”

He added that things have “gotten easier” since opening up, helping him stay present and accept himself.

Away from serious topics, Noah has also shown his playful side, joking on Instagram that critics calling his music “boring” actually sound like a compliment.
