Karol G is opening up about her post breakup life following her split from Feid.
During her latest chat, the Colombian singer revealed that she is focusing more on herself and her personal growth.
In her Playboy Spring 2026 cover story interview with Paola Ramos, she stated, “Last year...life threw me to the floor, kicked me, pushed me, stood on me, spun me around.”
She continued, "I’m letting go of everything. I’m single and, to be honest...As a good Latina from a traditional family...I think you have to work a lot on yourself so the relationship can work. You also have to do the work so that you can walk away when you recognize it’s not going to work."
Moreover, she added, “When I finished my last relationship, I initially felt like, ‘Wow, I’m here again.’ But then I saw it as, ‘Wow, how beautiful that I had the courage to say that I no longer wanted to be there.’”
Additionally, she pointed out that although her culture suggests that her culture expects her to have children already, but she feels on her own journey and keeps developing and learning.
The interview comes at the same time as she makes history as the first Latina headliner of Coachella.
Meanwhile, Karol G and Feid’s relationship began after he opened for her 2021 Bichota Tour and included collaborations such as Friki and Verano Rosa.
For the unversed, the pair confirmed their relationship publicly in March 2024 and ended their relationship in early 2026 after being together for three years.
