Coachella 2026: Sabrina Carpenter reveals headline performance plans

Sabrina Carpenter, who is set to lead the lineup at the 2026 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, talked about her preparation.

During her latest chat, the 26-year-old Grammy-winning pop star admitted that the process was simple and meaningful.

In a recent Perfect magazine cover interview with Marc Jacobs, she stated, “It’s the most ambitious show I’ve ever done. It’s probably the most time I’ve ever had to actually just sit down and talk about a show as I’m building it.”

She continued, “Most of the time, you’re really quickly thrust into physical rehearsals, but this time around we started this process around seven months ago. So it’s been a long journey. It will be very special.”

Furthermore, talking about her previous Coachella appearance, she recalled that it was a really special day for her, as her song Espresso had just come out, adding that she got to perform it for the first time at Coachella and noted that, two years later, they are back.

Reflecting on her growth since then, she mentioned, “And I think that’s what makes this show feel really, really surreal: getting to celebrate all the songs that have come after it, and just how many lives they’ve lived since they’ve come out.”

It is pertinent to mention, Sabrina Carpenter will be part of the Coachella 2026 lineup, performing on both Fridays, during the festival dates of April 10 to April 17.
