Dwayne Johnson gives shoutout to the unsung heroes of the community who are working silently for their families on this Father’s Day.
The Smashing Machine actor sends out heartwarming message to all those fathers who are putting in the work without making noise for the stability of their family and children.
To mark this auspicious day, Dwayne, famously known as The Rock in the ring world, takes to Instagram on June 21 and addresses fathers in his social media clip.
The Jungle Cruise actor wishes all the men on Father’s Day, especially who are “good and proud” dads, holding it down, providing for and protecting the ones you love, doing the daily hard work and doing it completely.
Dwayne notes in the caption that men should “lift each other up and shine the light on their efforts”.
The Red Notice actor said that men as fathers should be acknowledged because they are not given much importance, who are “quietly doing their work”.
Nevertheless, Dwayne also remembers his father, who is no more in this world, saying, “Happy Father’s Day to our own dads – some are still here with us – and some are not.”
The Fast & Furious actor believed that whether “your dad was/is your best friend — or like me, your dad struggled, made mistakes and was never quite the hero you had hoped for”.
“ALL our dads loved us with whatever capacity they had. Their version of love may have been jacked up and damaged, but to them, it was still full love with very limited capacity,” writes the 54-year-old in the caption.
“Over the years, I’ve realised that allowing for grace for our loved ones - and for ourselves - equals peace — and peace of mind is ultimately what all of us men search for,” added Dwayne.
