Ray Stevens, who broke his neck in a fall, is at home recovering, his representatives announced.
On Sunday, March 29, the 87-year-old, two-time Grammy winner, was briefly hospitalised as a press release provided to PEOPLE claimed.
The physicians recommended that he have a neck brace on him, which would last about four weeks.
The release said that he is fully mobile and in good spirits, despite the injury, as he proceeds with his recovery.
The next album by Stevens is Favorites Old and New, which will be released on April 10 by Curb Records.
The 13-track record has some of the classic hits like The Look of Love and It Had To Be You, coupled with new additions like Time Machine.
In a statement, Stevens said that he enjoyed making this album, adding, "It really does contain a few of my favorite old songs as well as favorite new ones."
The veteran star noted the tracks to be written by some talented writers. "I just hope Ray Stevens fans enjoy it as much as Ray Stevens!"
The accident happened less than one year after Stevens underwent a minor heart attack and a heart surgery with minimal invasions in July 2025.
He was then in the hospital complaining of chest pains and was subjected to a heart catheterization procedure.
In a six-decade career, Stevens has earned two Grammy Awards and has release novelty hits, such as The Streak.
