Miley Cyrus’ mom Tish not in favour of reconciliation with singer’s dad

Miley Cyrus is trying her best to reconcile with dad Billy but mom Tish Cyrus-Purcell opposed the idea.

According to Radar Online, a source revealed that Tish is “very hateful toward Billy Ray. She says he's a total con man and a scumbag, who's messed up countless lives through his own selfishness, cruelty and narcissism”.

But the second source shared that Tish doesn’t understand why Miley ‘s “so blind” to it.

For those unversed, Tish and Billy split in 2022 notably after Achy Breaky Heart singer began dating Aussie songbird Firerose, whom he married in 2023.

Another source opened up that the Flowers singer is “looking to bring the family back together again – but Tish doesn't want any part of it”.

An insider shared that Tish cannot forgive Billy and believed what he has done in the past, it’s “unforgivable” and she wants no part of him.

“She's finally with a life partner who treats her right and is a kind-hearted gentleman who doesn't go out of his way to hurt others like Billy Ray did,” said a source while speaking of Dominic Purcell.

Some sources mentioned that Miley and her siblings Noah Cyrus and Braison Cyrus, 31, are also supported the singer’s efforts to make peace between Tish and Billy.

However, the source noted that there's a lot of “resentment and tension,” between a mother and daughter.

“Miley and Tish are butting heads – big-time. Both of them are really digging in,” added an insider.
