Paris Jackson’s brother Blanket recently took major legal move over Michael Jackson’s estate.
The late pop icon’s son joined the legal battle between his sister and the co-executors of their father’s estate.
In legal documents obtained by Daily Mail, the executors John Branca and John McClain said that Paris reportedly “caused a deal to crumble” that she and her brothers Blanket and Prince had agreed in March.
On April 6, the executors further said that they “believed they had reached an agreement spearheaded by the efforts of counsel for Bigi Jackson, a company of Blanket, who stated in email communications that he spoke for all three siblings and their counsel on the issues”.
However, the executors explained when lawyers for Paris “inexplicably reversed their position entirely and reneged on the agreement that was acceptable to all other parties”.
It is pertinent to mention that Paris pulled out of the deal when it was about to close, the executors said in court filings, claiming a list of demands “radically different from what the parties had seemingly agreed to just a week prior”.
The executors pointed out that they “are open to the earlier proposal, but not the one Paris set forth”.
They remarked that they “have never violated [any] court orders, and this court has never held otherwise”.
A source close to Paris told the Daily Mail on Monday that “from the moment she filed an objection, Paris has been the victim of a disgusting, outrageous smear campaign by the executors and their attorneys”.
“These lawyers are using Jackson family resources to mock, belittle and attack her for demanding transparency and accountability from the people who control every aspect of her family's finances,” mentioned an insider.
The source told the outlet, “To be clear, there was never any deal on the table from any party that would have settled all issues between Paris and the executors.”
