Dakota Johnson takes it slow with new boyfriend Role Model

Hollywood romance is heating up as Dakota Johnson is said to be quietly dating rising music star Role Model and insiders insist it’s far from just a casual fling.

The 36-year-old Fifty Shades actress was recently spotted locking lips and holding hands with the singer in Los Angeles, sending fans into a frenzy. 

According to sources close to the pair, their connection is very real. 

“It’s definitely more than a fling,” one insider revealed, adding that the duo are “very much on the same page” and enjoying a relationship that feels “easy”.

However, Dakota is said to be keeping her feet firmly on the ground following her split from Chris Martin in 2025. 

The insider explained she “really likes him” but is choosing to take things slow after her previous long-term romance.

For the unversed, the pair were first linked back in December, and since then, their bond has only grown stronger. 

Friends say Materialists actress finds Role Model “cute” and appreciates how well he treats her, that is a promising sign for the blossoming couple.

Away from her love life, Madame Web star has also opened up about her upbringing, crediting her famously open-minded parents, Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson for shaping her views on relationships and identity. 

She previously shared how their honesty allowed her to explore her own sexuality freely, calling it “such a gift”.
