Gucci Mane is allegedly a victim in crimes committed by rappers Pooh Shiesty and Big30
Gucci Mane has been named as a victim in a new announcement made by the U.S. Department of Justice on Thursday, April 2.
The rapper was allegedly robbed and kidnapped, among other victims by fellow rappers Pooh Shiesty and Big30 in an incident in Dallas in January.
In the press conference, the United States Attorney for the Northern District of Texas, Ryan Rabould said that nine people were involved in committing the crime, of which eight have been arrested.
Including the two rapper others who have been taken in as suspects are Pooh Shiesty's father Lontrell Williams Sr., Kedarius Waters, Terrance Rodgers, Damarian Gipson, Demarcus Glover, Kordae Johnson and Darrion McDaniel.
As per the conference, the Shiesty Summer rapper, who is signed to Gucci Mane’s record label, invited three professionals from the music industry to his Dallas studio for a business meeting to discuss his contract.
Ryan added that Shiesty and his co-conspirators then executed an armed takeover, forcing victims at gunpoint to do things.
"The remaining conspirators displayed firearms and robbed the other victims of Rolex watches, jewelry, cash and other high-value items. One of the victims was actually choked by one of the defendants to the point of near unconsciousness," he further revealed.
Pooh also prevented victims from escaping by barricading the door and committed the crimes despite being on home detention for his previous ones.
