Robert De Niro is not shying away from making his political stance clear as he showed up to massive No Kings protest.
The actor joined others such as Jane Fonda and Bruce Springsteen by heading a protest in New York City, and spoke on the matter.
In his speech, the Heat star stated that the President of the United States was an “existential threat to our freedoms and security” and advocated for immediate action to be taken to remove him from office.
Robert also said, , "When the crowds are chanting 'No Kings', what I'm really hearing is 'No Trump,'" during the demonstration.
It was held in protest of ICE, attacks on freedom of speech, the Iran war, and Trump's "desire to rule over us as a tyrant" as per organisers.
The Godfather star lead the procession with Rev. Al Sharpton and Attorney General Letitia James and called the gatherings a great rallying cry.
Robert has been vocal against Trump for a while now, even though the latter has dismissed the ‘No Kings’ protests as small and ineffective and has asserted that he is not a king and works to improve the country.
