Harry Potter, the franchise that brings back, J.K. Rowling’s seven-part book series and part of the Warner Bros. franchise, achieved massive milestone before release.
The trailer with the first look at the series was launched on Wednesday, March 25, shocking the fans worldwide.
The video uploaded on multiple platforms, has garnered 277 million organic views across platforms as it becomes the most-watched trailer in HBO and HBO Max history.
The forthcoming TV series stars Dominic McLaughlin as Harry Potter, Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger, and Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley.
The excited fans also chimed in on YouTube’s comment section, “it feels like a fan fiction with budget,”
Although the fans were of mixed opinion, they showed their anticipation for the Christmas day drop.
Another added, “THIS CHRISTMAS, I'll be in my bedroom, making no noise and pretending that I don't exist.”
One more netizen concluded, “I've never had so many mixed feelings from a trailer before.”
It is to be noted that the first season of the seven, will be re imagined from J.K Rowling's first novel, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, as each season will showcase the story of each book.
