Miles Teller couldn’t hide his pride on Sunday as his long-time friend Michael B. Jordan took home his first ever Best Actor Oscar for Sinners.
The pair’s friendship, stretching back more than a decade, was on full display when the 39-year-old actor posted a playful throwback photo of them making silly faces together, captioning it: “What’s up, Blue!!!! So proud of my guy @michaelb4jordan. Top of the mountain.”
The actors first worked together on 2014’s rom-com That Awkward Moment with Zac Efron, and later reunited for 2015’s Fantastic Four, where Miles played Reed Richards and Michael portrayed Johnny Storm.
Their bond has clearly only grown stronger over the years.
The 39-year-old actor’s Oscar-winning performance as twin brothers Smoke and Stack, directed by Ryan Coogler, earned him widespread acclaim.
During his acceptance speech, he thanked co-stars Wunmi Mosaku and Hailee Steinfeld: “Wunmi, thank you so much for giving Smoke an opportunity to be him.
Hailee at home – you know she's getting ready to have a baby right now – thank you for being the other half of Stack.”
He also expressed gratitude to his fans: “I feel it. I know you guys want me to do well, and I want to do that because you guys bet on me.”
Later, Creed star was seen celebrating his Oscar the Californian way, a trip to In-N-Out, proudly clutching his golden statuette.
