Fran points out that the actor needs to be cautious about what they are saying to the press “because you could paint yourself into a corner you can't get out of”.
The actress notes that this controversy won’t have “a lasting impact” on the Dune actor’s career.
However, Timothee “will be more careful next time,” adds Fran, who portrays the actor’s mother in Marty Supreme movie.

“People could turn against you, therefore, you gotta always be very careful,” states Fran.
Meanwhile, the actress says that she always finds Timothee “to be very kind and caring person that was raised by artists”.
Before concluding, Fran believes that even though the Interstellar actor “may have come across a bit cavalier but in reality, he has a great respect and regard for the arts”.
