Owen Cooper marked milestone anniversary of his hit debut series, Adolescence.

The series made British TV history for being the first streaming show to become the most-watched programme the week it was released.

Cooper starred as Jamie Miller, a troubled teenager who is arrested for the murder of a female classmate.

The character exposed issues like teen anger, online influence, toxic masculinity and the struggles of modern adolescence.

He starred opposite to Stephen Graham, who played Eddie Miller, dad whose life is turned upside down when his son, Jamie, is arrested. Graham also co-created the show with Jack Thorne.

Talking to his Instagram, he shared a carousel post featuring photos from last year’s achievements.

"1 year ago today Adolescence dropped. The day my life changed forever. I shared memories with my family that I'll remember forever," he wrote.

Looking back on his award winning streak, he added, "Accepted awards that I never thought I could possibly achieve."

He continued saying that he met people who has watched on screens and has adored since a little kid.

Cooper added, "I travelled the world with my family and loved every minute of it so thank you all so much."

Since this show, the young actor's career has sky-rocketed.

He bagged Primetime Emmy Award, Golden Globe Award, Critics’ Choice Award, BAFTA and SAG.
