Harry Styles opened up about how he learned to maintain his private life after leaving the band, One Direction.
The band also includes, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, late Liam Payne and Zayn Malik.
Following Malik's exit in 2015, the band went on an indefinite hiatus in 2016. During the hiatus each member went on to launch their own solo career.
The As It Was singer while reflecting back on that time, credited it for helping him figure out the parts of being famous he was comfortable and the parts he wasn’t.
In a recent podcast episode of Q with Tom Power, the Sign of the Times crooner said, "I think when I started in the band, we were kind of encouraged to like give a lot of ourselves away, you know, to kind of like let people get to know you."
Sharing how it changed once he went solo, Styles continued, "I felt like there were parts of that where I was kind of just learning what I was comfortable with and trying to like have kind of parts of my like personal life be more private."
The admission came after he candidly revealed that after hitting his mark during his teens in One Direction followed by the successful solo career, he began to feel isolated as a result of his fame.
Styles after wrapping his 173-date Love On Tour in July 2023, he took a break from music to spend some time with his loved ones, travel and enjoy.
After an "amazing" three years off, he stepped back in world of showbiz by performing his first concert in Manchester on Friday to coincide with the release of his fourth album Kiss All The Time, Disco Occasionally.
