Katy Perry has sent fans into meltdown after teasing a shock collaboration with Chief Keef, more than a decade after their infamous online feud first grabbed headlines.
The 41-year-old pop superstar shared a string of cosy photos and clips with the rapper on Instagram, including videos of the pair laughing, hugging and hanging out together.
She captioned the post: “LEGENDARY LOVERS TONIGHT 9pm PT YABADABADOOOO,” instantly sparking chaos across social media.
Fans could barely contain their excitement, with one writing: “I love Katy the best fan idc”, while another declared: “Nuh FUKRY!”
A third thrilled follower added: “Squashed their feud,” and someone else simply screamed: “KATHERYN?!?!?!??!”
The surprise reunion comes 13 years after the Roar singer and Chief Keef clashed online back in 2013 over his song Hate Being Sober.
At the time, the songstress admitted the track title made her “have serious doubt for the world”, prompting an angry response from the rapper, who threatened to “smack” her.
The row quickly spiralled across X, formerly Twitter, before both stars later apologised and seemingly moved on from the drama.
Now, fans are stunned to see the pair not only on good terms, but making music together.
Their new collaboration, Legendary Lovers (Save Me), reworks Katy’s 2013 Prism track Legendary Lovers and marks one of the most unexpected link-ups of the year.
Just days earlier, the duo were spotted together after Katy jokingly tried to “summon” Chief Keef on TikTok.
She later shared another clip of them greeting each other with the caption: “Legendary link-up.”
