Paul McCartney recently made rare comment on Taylor Swift following her global success.
The legendary musician was asked to give any unsolicited advice to the Opalite singer during an interview on BBC Sounds.
In a clip posted on BBC Radio 2’ Instagram, Paul said that the “worldwide fame that Taylor has and that we had, but I don't think she needs any advice to tell you the truth”.
Comparing the Cruel Summer singer’s success to The Beatles, the musician admitted, “You do see the parallel, you know the fame and the amount of fame.”
For the unversed, The Beatles reportedly sold over 600 million albums worldwide and remain the group with the most No. 1 hits in the history of the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
The journalist pushed Paul to share any advice for Taylor amid his musical accomplishments.
“If she asked for it, I definitely would,” stated the 83-year-old.
Paul told the interviewer, “I'm like the older brother to that generation, or more like the grandad, actually.”
Meanwhile, Taylor made history by breaking the Beatles' record for having the most songs simultaneously on the United World Top 10 chart in October in 2025, per The Telegraph and Parade.
