Khloé Kardashian eyes another baby without husband

Khloé Kardashian has revealed she has been quietly thinking about expanding her family, even if it means doing it on her own.

The 41-year-old reality star already shares daughter True, seven, and son Tatum, three, with her ex-partner, NBA player Tristan Thompson.

During a candid chat on her Khloé in Wonder Land podcast, the Good American co-founder admitted she’s been weighing up the idea of using one of her remaining frozen embryos to welcome a third child.

Khloé confessed she once imagined having another baby only after getting married. 

However, the idea of giving her daughter a sister keeps pulling at her heart.

“I’ve thought about it,” she said. 

“I do have a few embryos left in the freezer. I don’t think I have the energy for another baby, but I do think girls need sisters.”

Growing up with her famous siblings, Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner, she believes the sister bond is something special. 

While she’s confident Tatum will be fine, she feels a girl having a sister is a unique experience.

Still, the reality star admits she’s torn. 

“I’ve been contemplating it — like, do I just do this on my own? But I don’t know if emotionally I could handle it,” she explained.

If she did go ahead, Khloé said she would likely use a surrogate again, but hopes the experience would be very different from the emotional journey surrounding Tatum’s birth.

“There’s no guarantee an embryo will take,” she said. “If it didn’t work, I’d just think maybe it wasn’t meant to be.”

In a humorous moment, Khloé revealed that daughter True already knows there’s “a sister in the freezer”, though the star quickly joked she needs to clarify the context before people think she literally has a child stored in her freezer.
