Tamera Mowry has recently made a surprising move amid MAGA backlash.
The American actress has deleted her Threads account hours after signing up.
On April 13, the former Disney Channel star made her debut on the Meta platform, with her first post saying, “I’m new here.”
For those unaware, Threads has turned out to be a platform where people don’t hold back and say what they feel like.
The same proved to be true for Tamera, however, this time, she was on the receiving end as fans took her debut as a way to share their thoughts on her husband’s political affiliations.
Under her post, one asked, “Rules: You will not be treated like a celebrity here. What is your stance on January 6?”
Another added, “Watch yourself TaMAGA.”
A third wrote, “Go ahead and head out. On this app they either love on you or don't. And when they don't, it's ruthless. Over here, they like Tamera Campbell and Tamera Mowry, but they don't eff with Tamera Mowry-Housley.”
Following these comments, Tamera decided to leave the platform.
Meanwhile, Tamera reportedly faced public scrutiny after tying the knot with former Fox News correspondent Adam Housley, who supported the Trump administration's proposal “to prohibit the use of food stamps for buying junk food”.
