Miles Teller has laughed off any talk of early retirement after banking a massive payday from a booming drinks deal, insisting he’s only just getting started.

The 39-year-old Hollywood star, best known for Top Gun: Maverick, is set to pocket a hefty sum after his minority stake in The Long Drink Company was snapped up in a reported £260 million sale by Mark Anthony Group.

But don’t expect Miles to swap film sets for sun loungers just yet.

Brushing off rumours he might cash out and disappear, he said he’s “not retiring from acting anytime soon.”

Although he politely kept tight-lipped about exactly how much he’s earned, calling money talk “not in good taste”.

Instead, The Gorge actor hinted the windfall could fuel a new chapter behind the camera.

Miles revealed he’s keen to back gritty “underdog” stories, the kind of roles that made his name and use his clout to get passion projects off the ground.

And he’s not alone in striking gold outside Hollywood.

Fellow actor Ryan Reynolds famously raked in a fortune after selling his gin brand, while George Clooney also cashed in big on tequila.

Still, Miles was quick to shut down claims it’s all easy money, insisting success stories like his are “extremely rare” in the business world.
