North West signs major music deal amid career gains momentum

Twelve-year-old North West, the eldest daughter of reality star Kim Kardashian and rapper Kanye West, has taken a significant step into the music world by signing a recording deal with independent label Gamma, in a move that underscores her early ambitions in entertainment.

North, who has already released the track Piercing on My Hand, which was co-produced by her father and debuted live in Mexico City in front of tens of thousands, will work with Gamma, a label that has collaborated with prominent artists including Mariah Carey, Usher, Sexyy Red and Snoop Dogg.

According to Daily Mail, the news of North’s signing comes as she continues to build a public profile beyond music, including growing social media followings and interest in fashion ventures. 

Moreover, her mother, Kardashian, has recently filed trademark applications in her daughter’s name for a lifestyle and fashion brand called NOR11, signaling plans for entrepreneurial expansion.

As per the outlet, North’s career trajectory has drawn both praise and scrutiny, with fans and critics debating the implications of a pre-teen pursuing professional opportunities typically reserved for adults. 

Still, supporters highlight the creative freedom North expresses and the supportive role her celebrity parents play in guiding her interests.
