Chris Pratt is facing a tough time in his career.
The Guardians of the Galaxy star new film Mercy has been struggling in cinemas which have seemingly left him worried about his career.
The movie earned only low two-digit millions in its opening week, and about half of that in its second weekend.
According to DailyMail, a source reported that the Jurassic World actor "is panicking, Full stop."
The insider added, "This is the first time he's really feeling his age in Hollywood—and it's shaken him."
Prior to the project, the father of four has starred in in a number of blockbuster franchises that hit their mark and performed well.
However, now without that backing, he has seemingly come to realize that he might not be as invincible as he once thought.
"He always thought he had another decade of bulletproof stardom," another source shared about Pratt's dilemma. "Now he's looking around and realizing the parts aren't coming like they used to."
One more insider revealed that he is recently very much “obsessed with box office numbers and Rotten Tomatoes scores." The source called a "classic midlife crisis behaviour."
Mercy follows Pratt as detective Chris Raven, who is accused of murdering his wife in a near-future, AI-driven justice system.
The film is now running in theatres.
