Liam Payne’s Girlfriend Kate reflects on final moments with him after returning home

Kate Cassidy, the girlfriend of the late singer Liam Payne, has opened up publicly about the emotional aftermath of his tragic death, recalling her decision to return home days before he died and the final moments they shared. 

Payne died in October 2024 after falling from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina. 

Cassidy, a U.S.-based social media influencer, had departed Argentina two days earlier to return to the United States for personal reasons, including caring for the couple’s dog at home, she told The Sun in a recent interview.

In the interview, Cassidy described the moment she left Payne, saying their last conversation was filled with plans for the future, including returning home together.

According to Daily Mail, her final text to him read that she couldn’t wait for him to come home and see the house, a message she still revisits as she grieves.

Moreover, speaking about the tragedy, Cassidy said she never imagined the trip would end this way and acknowledged how difficult it has been to accept the reality of Payne’s passing. 

As per the outlet, she shared that she often calls his voicemail to hear his voice and continues to navigate her grief while reflecting on the “beautiful” moments they had before his death.
