Bridgerton showrunner Jessie Brownell, teased Jonathan Bailey (Anthony) and Simone Ashley (Kate) return to their clan after their absence from season 4 part one.
With part two round the corner, the creative lead discussed the role of elder ones in the coming volume.
In conversation with Variety, she said, "We've confirmed Jonathan Bailey and Simone Ashley are both in the season, and if you haven’t seen them in part 1, you’re going to see them in part 2."
The couple is not present in first half as he and his wife previously travelled to India for the birth of their first baby.
Brownell added, "They do have an integral role to play in terms of being the Viscount and Viscountess and the elder siblings."
Season four of Regency era drama is based on love story of second brother Benedict (Luke Thompson) and house help Sophie Baek (Yerin Ha).
In absence of Anthony, Benedict was appointed to help run family's estate.
Following season four, the Shondaland series has already been renewed for season five and six, which will star Eloise (Claudia Jessie) and Francesca (Hannah Dodd) in a yet-to-be-revealed order.
Bridgerton season four part one is now streaming on Netflix, meanwhile part two will release on February 26.
