Harry Styles over the moon with UK tour surprise

Harry Styles is practically bouncing off the walls with excitement.

The former One Direction star revealed that country-pop icon Shania Twain will be joining him on his UK tour dates.

The 31-year-old singer announced his seven-city residency, Together Together, which will take him to Amsterdam, London, Sao Paulo, Mexico City, New York, Melbourne and Sydney between May and December.

Most importantly, it’s the UK shows that have got the songwriter particularly thrilled.

Speaking to BBC Radio 2’s Scott Mills, Harry gushed: “I mean, I’m honoured and like very amazed that she’s coming with us. 

She’s someone who musically has been in my life for a really long time. I remember some of my earliest memories of learning songs and singing in the car with my mum listening to Shania Twain, so for me it’s like a very full circle. 

This is amazing, how exciting, oh my god!”

It's worth noting that the pop superstar isn’t short of support on the residency, either, with Robyn, Fcukers, Jorja Smith, Jamie xx, Fousheé, Skye Newman, and Baby J all joining him on various dates. 

As It Was hitmaker has just dropped his comeback single, Aperture, which he describes as a “perfect mission statement” for his forthcoming album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally.

He explained: “It’s about being open to change, accepting your flaws, and letting positive things into your life… "
