Stefon Diggs has revealed that he couldn’t be happier as he’s successfully “converted” Cardi B into a full-blown NFL fan.
The 32-year-old New England Patriots star praised the rapper for standing firmly by his side.
He admitted that the 33-year-old singer had zero interest in football before their romance began.
Now, he says, she’s one of his biggest cheerleaders.
Speaking in a clip shared on X earlier this week, Stefon said: “I just appreciate the support. She’s been an amazing supporter of me and the Patriots.
She wasn’t a football girl before I converted her over, but I’m thankful to have her in my corner.”
The sportsman, who welcomed a baby son with Cardi last November, went on to gush about their relationship, saying he hopes to see it continue to grow.
“I don’t talk too much about my personal life, but she’s an amazing woman. Hopefully I can build on that and watch that tree grow,” he added.
The WAP hitmaker has also opened up about the impact Stefon has had on her life, admitting he makes her feel “safe, confident and strong” during difficult moments.
Speaking on CBS Mornings, the Bodak Yellow singer recalled suffering a panic attack ahead of her album rollout, saying criticism from fans left her in tears.
“But with him,” she explained, “he makes me feel like I can take over the world.”
Now a mum of four, Cardi has joked that fans need to support her new album so she can keep up with nappies and baby supplies.
“Go buy my album,” she laughed. “I’ve got Pampers to pay for now.”
