Nicholas Galitzine has delivered a first look at his transformation as He-Man in the newly released trailer for Masters of the Universe, Amazon MGM Studios’ live-action adaptation of the beloved 1980s franchise.

The trailer, unveiled this week, offers audiences a glimpse of the British actor in full hero mode as Prince Adam, the reluctant heir who must embrace his destiny to save his shattered homeland of Eternia from the tyrannical Skeletor.

Directed by Travis Knight and set for a June 5, 2026 theatrical release, the high-octane fantasy adventure brings the classic Mattel property to life with a modern cinematic twist, as per People.

In the film’s synopsis, Prince Adam returns to Eternia after a long separation, only to find his world under siege by Skeletor’s evil forces. To protect his people, Adam must wield the Sword of Power and become He-Man, armed with superhuman strength and a band of loyal allies.

Moreover, Galitzine’s casting has generated buzz not only for his star turn but also for his physical transformation.

The 31-year-old actor bulked up significantly for the role, calling the process one of the most challenging of his career.

The ensemble cast also includes Camila Mendes as Teela, Idris Elba as Duncan/Man-At-Arms, Alison Brie as Evil-Lyn, Morena Baccarin as the Sorceress and Jared Leto as the villainous Skeletor, with Kristen Wiig voicing Roboto.

Fans of the franchise have responded with anticipation to the epic visuals, applauding the blend of nostalgia and fresh world-building in the trailer.
