Charlize Theron recently shared an unexpected connection to Christopher Nolan’s Memento, revealing that several outfits worn by Carrie Anne Moss in the film came from her own wardrobe.
Speaking during an interview with Konbini’s Video Club alongside her The Odyssey co-stars Zendaya and Lupita Nyong’o, the actress was asked to name her favourite Nolan film.
She said, “That’s hard because I love all of them.”
She continued, “But Memento is special to me because my friend costume-designed that film and we lived together during that time, and Chris and his brother would come to the house and have meetings with her there about costumes, and they had no money,”
Moreover, she explained. “So a lot of what Carrie Anne Moss wears in that movie came from my closet.”
It is to be noted that Cindy Evans designed the costumes for the 2000 thriller, which starred Guy Pearce, Carrie Anne Moss and Joe Pantoliano.
Meanwhile, Theron has now teamed up with Nolan professionally, starring in The Odyssey, which is currently playing in theatres.
