Timothy Busfield has been dropped by his representation Innovative Artists as he faces mounting legal trouble linked to multiple sexual abuse allegations, including fresh claims involving a teenager.

Busfield, best known for roles in The West Wing and Thirtysomething, surrendered to authorities in Albuquerque, New Mexico earlier this month after an arrest warrant was issued on two counts of criminal sexual contact of a minor and one count of child abuse.

The charges stem from allegations that he inappropriately touched twin boys, then ages 7 and 8, while directing the TV series The Cleaning Lady between 2022 and 2024.

According to Daily Mail, in the wake of those developments, an additional accusation has emerged from the father of a then-16-year-old girl, who alleges Busfield kissed and touched her inappropriately during an audition years ago and urged the family to seek therapy rather than report the incident to police at the time.

Moreover, the widening scope of the case has prompted Innovative Artists to sever ties with Busfield, according to reports.

Busfield has vehemently denied all allegations, calling them “lies” and asserting his intention to fight the charges as the legal process continues.

Authorities have not yet announced trial dates, and Busfield remains in custody as prosecutors pursue pretrial proceedings.
