Kelly Clarkson made a rare remark about how her family was doing after her two of her young children lost their father Brandon Blackstock last year.
The talent manager lost the battle to cancer at age 48 on Aug. 7, 2025, after which the talk show host requested for privacy and time to heal.
In a recent YouTube question-and-answer session released on the official Kelly Clarkson Show channel, the singer was responding to fan queries when she touched on what brought her joy every day.
Kelly said that it was her and Brandon’s children daughter River and son Remington "Remy" and spending time with them.
"My kids, they're 9 and 11. Kind of that special little fun stage where they can wipe their own behinds, but they're still small enough to, like, love cuddling and love snuggles," the Stronger singer dished adding that snuggling with them makes her happy.
"There's been a lot for our family recently, and so I have allowed my kids to sleep with me quite a bit. It's my two dogs, my two kids and me. It's a lot, it's been really special, though, because... the conversations you have during that time are pretty cute. So that's probably my favorite time of day,” Kelly added.
Notably, the 43-year-old and Brandon had gotten a divorce in 2020, and used to co-parent the little ones since then.
As per TMZ, Brandon Blackstock was in hospice and was battling Melanoma, which is a kind of skin cancer.
