Kelly Clarkson spent this holiday season focused on her children, Remington, 9, and River, 11, as they navigated their first Christmas without their dad, Brandon Blackstock.

The 43-year-old singer and The Kelly Clarkson Show host is reportedly “heartbroken” for her kids, who faced what a source called an “incredibly painful and confusing” first holiday season after Brandon’s death in August at the age of 48 after a long battle with cancer.

Despite her own grief, the Stronger singer stayed grounded, making sure the holiday season remained as joyful and steady as possible for her family.

“She’s not someone who falls apart,” the insider revealed.

“Her focus is to be present for her kids, and she does everything she can to make life as loving and stable as possible.”

For those unfamiliar, the talent manager passed away peacefully on August 7, surrounded by family after fighting cancer for more than three years.

A family representative shared at the time, “We thank you for your thoughts and prayers and ask everyone to respect the family’s privacy during this very difficult time.”

Sources say Kelly channelled her pain into parenting, keeping traditions alive and ensuring her kids felt loved and supported.

Fans of the Because Of You singer can admire her resilience as she navigates the holidays with strength, putting her children first despite a heartbreaking loss.

Kelly’s focus on family over fame this holiday season is a reminder of her devotion as a mother, proving that even in the darkest times, love and presence matter most.
