Musician Brian King Joseph has spoken out after making shocking allegations against Hollywood star Will Smith.

The 33-year-old violinist, who rose to fame as a finalist on America’s Got Talent in 2018, recently claimed that he was fired from Smith’s world tour after reporting a sexual assault incident.

Brian thanked fans for their support in an emotional Instagram Story. “The support means a lot you guys, thank you,” he wrote, alongside a praying hands and heart emoji.

For those unfamiliar, he has filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court, accusing Bad Boys actor of predatory behaviour, grooming and retaliation during the actor’s Based on a True Story global tour.

According to the complaint, Joseph says he was dismissed just days after reporting a disturbing incident at a Las Vegas hotel in March 2025, where he allegedly returned to his room to find someone had entered it and left a sexual message.

He claims tour management accused him of lying after he reported the matter to hotel security, and that he suffered emotional distress, anxiety and reputational damage as a result.

It's worth noting that, Smith’s legal team has strongly denied the claims.

His attorney, Allen B. Grodsky, said the allegations were “false, baseless and reckless” and vowed to fight them using “all legal means”.

Joseph’s lawyer says more details will emerge during the legal process, adding that his client had been close to Aladdin star and even headlined one of the concerts.

Joseph is now seeking compensatory damages as the high-profile legal battle continues.
