Will Smith has been named in a bombshell lawsuit by professional violinist Brian King Joseph, with some hefty allegations and accusations.
The musician filed a complaint at the Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles, on December 30th 2025, against the Bad Boys star and his company Treyball Studios Management, Inc.
In the suit, the America's Got Talent alum claims that the rapper “was deliberately grooming and priming Mr. Joseph for further sexual exploitation” after asking him to become a part of his global tour, Based on a True Story: 2025, in November 2024.
According to Joseph, this kicked off a series of traumatic events, including an instance during tour when someone gained access to his Las Vegas hotel room.
The touring violinist allegedly saw a handwritten note in the room, reading “Brian, I’ll be back...just us,” with a drawn heart and signed, “Stone F,” which he precieved as a sexual threat of violence along with other items found.
As per the filing, “wipes, a beer bottle, a red backpack, a bottle of HIV medication with another individual’s name, an earring, and hospital discharge paperwork belonging to a person unbeknownst to” Joseph were in the room.
The musician claims that upon reporting the incident to Smith and his team, he was shamed and fired soon after.
As a result, the professional violinst is suing for retaliation, wrongful termination and sexual harassment, and seeking damages.
