Meghan Trainor, who has been with her husband and famous Spy Kids movie star, Daryl Saba, for ten years now, revealed why their relationship was ending and what saved her.
Notably, the singer married her partner at the age of 25 on her birthday and share three young children together.
The songwriter gushed to Us Weekly, how her bond with her lover was “pushed to the side” upon the arrival of their third child.
She revealed, “But that’s where having the young kids, we learned, one through five, your marriage gets pushed to the side, and then you’re like: 'Why are we fighting? We’re on the same team.”
The 32-year-old added, “We started marriage counselling because we realized when we were even having little, tiny arguments, we were living in full different realities. We would even say in our fights: 'Hey, we’re not even fighting about the same thing'."
She admitted that the counseling had “revived” her marriage and played a key part when things were on the “brink of collapse."
For the unfamiliar, Meghan is a mum to five-year-old Riley, two-year-old Barry and little baby girl, Mikey.
