Timothée Chalamet is finally addressing all he infamous Academy Award buzz that has been bubbling up around his Marty Supreme marketing campaign.
Internet users have dissected the Little Women actor’s remarks in interviews in which he speaks confidently about his performances and calls them top notch and have likened it to him being desperate for an Oscar.
The two-time Academy Award nominee was directly asked about his thoughts on the Best Actor award which he hasn’t won yet during his appearance on BBC Radio 2, where the 29-year-old set the record straight.
“This is the truthful answer: Any association with that kind of conversation is great for the movie. I want the movie to get a lot of love, and the awards stuff doesn’t matter, ” Timothée stated.
Meanwhile the host, Scott Mills emphasised that he believes that this movie will be it, which the Call Me By Your Name star appeared to be grateful for.
Scott also praised Marty Supreme, calling it one of the best films he has seen, and Timothée added that he was thankful for the support.
Marty Supreme is set to release on Christmas day, December 25, 2025.
