Rob Reiner death: How was murder suspect Nick found?
The actor and his wife’s dead bodies were discovered in their Brentwood home
American director Rob Reiner and his wife Michele were found dead in their Brentwood home by their daughter on Sunday.
The couple was found reportedly with their throats “slit” and as of now their son Nick is being investigated for murdering his parents.
When their bodies were found by daughter Romy Reiner, Nick was not at home.
Nick Reiner had reportedly left the house and was travelled a short distance in Los Angeles away from home.
The son of the late couple was ultimately located by the police near the campus of the University of Southern California, as per ABC News.
The authorities “quickly” found Nick and he was arrested at the campus at 9:15pm.
The Los Angeles Police Department's public information officer confirmed to People that “the location of the suspect’s arrest was in the Exposition Park area near USC.”
The late couple had recently allowed their drug addict son to move in back with them in their home to support him during his struggle.
Nick is set to appear in court on Tuesday, December 16.
