King Charles to share vulnerable message amid health battle

King Charles is set to share an emotional message that will be broadcasted later.
The monarch recorded the message to reflect on his journey since his cancer diagnosis.
In 2024, the king was diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer, around the same time as Kate Middleton’s diagnosis.
The message will be broadcast in this year's Stand Up To Cancer campaign, run by Cancer Research UK and Channel 4.
This will mark a rare update in the king’s health journey who has been undergoing treatment to fight the illness.
The video message was recorded at Clarence House two weeks ago which will go over Charles’ journey and highlight the importance of cancer screening checks.
The cancer screen checks are an efficient way of figuring out if someone has the illness which can be caught in its early stage.
Cancer is treatable in its early phases however once it reaches later stages, it is often declared fatal.
The Stand Up To Cancer campaign raises funds each year for medical research and treatment of cancer.
