Meghan Markle’s father’s only wish revealed amid health scare

Meghan Markle’s father Thomas Markle has an “only” wish as he deals with deteriorating health.
The father of the Duchess of Sussex has been estranged from her since she tied the knot with Prince Harry in 2018.
Thomas was rushed to hospital on Tuesday where he underwent a three-hour surgery later on Wednesday.
The 81-year-old, who was married to Doria Ragland until 1987, has been in intensive care in hospital, as per his son Thomas Jr.
Thomas Jr. said “I took dad to a hospital close to our home and they did various scans and the doctors said his life was in imminent danger.”
The royal’s father wishes to meet his grandchildren, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, as per Daily Mail.
“I still do not understand why she continues to ghost me. My only wish is to see my grandchildren before I die,” he told the outlet.
“Every day there was some story or other about Meghan and Harry. It was a constant reminder that my daughter is no longer speaking to me”, he added.
Doria and Thomas got married in 1979 and welcomed daughter Meghan in 1981. However, when she was only 2 they parted ways and later finalised their divorce in 1987.
