Speculation is mounting over a possible reunion between King Charles and Prince Harry after reports suggested the monarch could travel to the United States next year.
According to sources, plans are underway for the King to visit America in April 2026 to mark the 250th anniversary of US independence, a trip that would be his first to the country since 2018.
Whether the King will be medically fit to travel remains uncertain, but if the visit goes ahead, it could put him just hours away from Harry, who has lived in Montecito, California, since stepping down as a senior royal in 2020.
The last time father and son met was in September, when Harry briefly returned to the UK for charity engagements. D
uring that visit, he spent 50 minutes with the King at Clarence House, their first known face-to-face meeting in months.
However, royal fans appear deeply divided, and largely against the idea of another meeting.
A new poll conducted by the Express asked readers whether King Charles should reunite with Harry during a potential US visit.
Out of 4,832 total votes, an overwhelming 4,190 (86.7 percent) said no. Just 551 (11.4 percent) supported the idea, while 91 voters (1.8 percent) were unsure.
The comments section was filled with strong opinions. One reader declared: "No, Charles shouldn't visit Harry. If anything, Harry should make the effort to visit Charles....but we hope not..."
Another wrote: "No of course not, not in a million years."
A third commenter suggested a compromise but only with strict conditions: "King Charles and Prince Harry should meet with the grandkids. However, I would leave both of the ladies Meghan and Queen [Camilla] out of the meeting."
