Kim Kardashian is back in the spotlight, and this time, it’s for her legal drama, All’s Fair.
Disney+ has officially renewed Ryan Murphy’s hit show for a second season after it became the biggest Hulu Original scripted series premiere in three years.
The show, which also stars Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash-Betts, Teyana Taylor, Matthew Noszka, Sarah Paulson, and Glenn Close, launched earlier this month, with a two-episode finale set to air internationally on December 9.
All’s Fair follows a team of female divorce lawyers who ditch their male-dominated firm to start their own practice.
While audiences appear to be loving it, the Popcornmeter audience rating sits at 66%.
The critics have been far less forgiving, with a shockingly low three per cent on Rotten Tomatoes’ Tomatometer.
But Glenn Close, one of the show’s A-list stars, is firmly in Team Kim.
Speaking to The Guardian, Close gushed: “I swear to God, I’ve seen all nine episodes and it’s pretty f***ing good. It’s juicy, outrageous at times, and touching.”
The Fatal Attraction star also praised the SKIMS founder, calling her “lovely” and “very smart”, noting her dedication while juggling filming and working towards her law degree.
Close added with admiration: “She’s very conscientious with her kids… and I have to say, I’m very impressed with Kim.”
