Drake, who is known for his chart-topping hit tracks, puzzled fans with his latest move after years of public beef with Kendrick Lamar.
Although the two artists embroiled in a feud filled with disses and indirect jabs, it appears Drake might be thinking of a reconciliation.
Recently, Halsey went viral for adding a verse to the famous track of Kendrick Swimming Pool, giving it a personal twist as she playfully apologised for being “deeply online.”
In the clip, with text that read: “I can’t unhear this,” the songstress sang in a single breath: “Okay now open your mind and listen to me Kendrick… I am hoping to lead you to victory Kendrick.”
Surprisingly, the clip caught the Hotline Bling crooner’s attention as he acknowledged the post by dropping a like on the video.
This sent the online community in to a frenzy with one X user sharing a video of two people embracing each other and captioned it: “Drake and Kendrick Lamar soon gonna patch up.”
Another netizen demanded a wild crossover between famous rapper: “Need a Kendrick & Drake gospel album produced by Kanye West ngl.”
What is the meaning of Not Like Us?
On the other hand, many admirers were of the opinion that the One Dance singer is trying to reignite the feud with someone quoting Kendrick’s diss track Not Like Us, calling him “a fan.”
The 2024 song poked fun at the Canadian singer, accusing him of being a “paedophile.”
