Kim Kardashian, who firmly believes that kids should be allowed to express themselves, recently allowed her daughter, North West to have piercings.
The first piercing, also known as dermal piercing, was spotted when the mother-daughter duo was on a vacation in Rome and fans have been pointing out since.
Recently an account named, @mazzy_williams posted a video with a caption, “north west getting a finger piercing is breaking my heart, just me?”.
Notably, the said post garnered more than 700,000 views and also caught the attention of the SKIMS founder.
The beauty mogul used her and North’s shared Tiktok account and commented, “it's okay.” with the emoji “hands forming a heart”.
The reaction of The Kardashians star was supported by many as they also chimed in and addressed it as a “non-issue” but it also sparked a debate.
One netizen wrote, “she wanted the piercing and Kim let her pls stop.”
Another online user added, “She's literally 12 lol she's a child and that's a pretty permanent decision.”
This comes after North recently posted the process as she was seen getting new “under the knuckle” piercing, and her followers were not okay with it as she is “too young” to get body modifications.
The critics have previously mentioned that Kim should focus more on her daughter as the piercing is a high-risk piercing and can cause major problems since she is just a 12-year-old.
