Paris Hilton comments on being ‘recruited’ by Ghislaine Maxwell

American TV star Paris Hilton has addressed the claims of being recruited by convicted child sex offender Ghislaine Maxwell.

Ghislaine Maxwell is a British socialite who was convicted of child sex trafficking and other offences in 2021.

The 63-year-old’s crimes were linked to late felon Jeffrey Epstein as she worked as his “recriuter”.

Paris has addressed the long-circulating rumours that she was one of the girls approached by Ghislaine.

While speaking to The Sunday Times Magazine, Paris has set the record straight.

Addressing the reports that the offender was fixated on her during a party when Paris was 19, the socialite said “I don’t even remember ever meeting her”.

The story first made rounds in 2020 when Ghislaine’s former acquaintance and journalist Christopher Mason recalled an encounter dating back to 2000, in which the convicted felon spotted Paris at a New York event.

As per Christopher, quickly after spotting the teenager, Ghislaine became interested in her and bringing into Jeffrey’s orbit.

He also recalled Ghislaine’s comment about Paris being “perfect” for Jeffrey.

A picture dating back to September 18, 2000 from the Anand Jon Fashion Show featuring Paris between Donald Trump and Ghislaine is often cited as proof that she was in their circle.
