Pierce Brosnan teases fans with James Bond comment
The actor played the spy in four movies
Irish acting legend Pierce Brosnan has teased Bond fans with a comment on his potential return to the franchise.
The actor played 007 in four Bond movies from 1995 to 2002 becoming one of the most famous characters in the world.
As the world is anticipating the announcement of a new James Bond, the actor’s comment has sparked buzz about his comeback.
Speaking to GQ Magazine, he was asked if e would return to the franchise, to which he gave a positive reply.
“Of course, people ask about Bond - 'would you?' and whatever - but that’s another man’s job.”, he replied.
Pierce said “But the possibilities of working within that film, entertaining... so it’s going to be exciting to see what happens.”
“I think everything changes, everything falls apart, so you just sit back and enjoy it all.”, he added.
After the last 007 movie came out in 2021 starring Daniel Craig, Amazon MGM Studios have taken over the creative control making fans more curious about the next edition.
While Pierce has not ruled out the idea of him returning, he has said that he would prefer a new face to play the role.
Currently, the top contenders of the role are Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Theo James, Callum Turner and Joe Alwyn.
