Rachel Zegler leaves hilarious remark under Cynthia Erivo’s post

Cynthia Erivo’s post from the viral premiere of Wicked: For Good in Singapore has earned a response from Rachel Zegler.

The Snow White star left a hilarious left a comment under the post, referring to the fourth slide in the Wicked star’s carousel of images posted on Instagram, in which she was hugging a person dressed as Shrek.

In the Emmy winner’s post appreciating the country, the caption read “Singapore, you have our hearts. Thank you for the warmest welcome to your garden city.” 

Under the post, the 24-year referenced the fourth slide, adding, “something so poetic about elphaba hugging shrek ... all we need now is kermit.”

The remark has earned a lot of love from netizens, who appreciated her for being so candid and appreciating the crossover.

One internet user wrote on X, “elphaba and shrek having a green-off,” as another added, “Pop culture has gone fully unhinged and I respect it.”

“Rachel Zegler turning that moment into a little poem makes the whole exchange even funnier, chaos with a touch of charm,” added another while a fourth recommended, “The Grinch needs involved too. Especially at this time of year.”
