Taylor Swift dropped her new album The Life Of A Showgirl which topped the charts right after debut on October 3.
After the 35-year-old singer received mix reviews for her new songs, it was expected Taylor would earn a nomination at the Grammys 2026.
However, it was later revealed that she did not get nominated as she released the studio record outside the window, which was the first requirement for becoming eligible.
On the other hand, Swifties were disappointed at the results as they believe their favourite idol did not make it and was allegedly disrespected.
It is rumoured that the Love Story crooner is presenting at the prestigious awards ceremony next year which reignited the debate.
One of the X users was of the opinion: “She doesn’t need to after they disrespected her this year,” while another gushed that her last album “TTPD deserves at least 1 Grammy. They did her dirty.”
A netizen pointed out that the board "had to find a way to get in there” as Taylor, who is engaged to Travis Kelce, brings in views and grabs “attention.”
Turning blind eye to the situation, Taylor released a trailer of the Eras Tour docuseries which gives fans a sneak peek at the musical journey and what happened at the back stage.
It is scheduled to drop on December 12, 2025, a day before the pop sensation turns 36 years old.
