George Clooney jokes about kids needing therapy because of his biggest ‘disaster’

American actor George Clooney has a reputation for playing versatile and complex roles but even he has had career lows.

The actor, known for playing roles like Dr. Doug Ross and Michael Clayton, has had a famous flop despite being based on a hit superhero.

George played the role of Batman in the 1997 Batman & Robin directed by Joel Schumacher.

Speaking of the critical flop, George joked about his twins needing “therapy” because of his Batman costume.

While chatting with The Sun, the actor said “We know they’re going to be in therapy no matter what, just from Batman + Robin.”

As per the 64-year-old, he learned a lot from the movie which performed modestly on the box office but was a critical disaster.

“Batman & Robin! I learned a lot [from] that one,”, he said.

“You don't learn from succeeding — you learn from failing, and then you have to figure it out along the way, so it’s helpful.”, he added.

Previously, George admitted the movie was a “failure” and influenced his projects after it.

The Gravity star said he was no longer just the actor in it but was being held responsible for the film itself, which has a disastrous rating of 11% on Rotten Tomatoes.
