Ariana Grande, Ethan Slater keep love low-key amid 'Wicked: For Good' promotion

Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater, headlining for their budding romance, are proving that love can survive even under the brightest spotlight.

The Wicked: For Good co-stars, who first sparked romance rumours in July 2023, are said to be “making it work” despite their hectic schedules and the pressures of fame.

According to People, the 32-year-old pop superstar and the 33-year-old Broadway actor are still going strong. 

“They both have a lot going on, but their relationship is the real deal,” a source revealed, adding that the couple remain incredibly supportive of each other’s careers.

The duo recently reunited in London to promote their upcoming Wicked film but kept a low profile, avoiding being photographed together at the Leicester Square premiere or the after-party at Brasserie Zedel.

An insider told The Sun’s Bizarre column: “Ariana and Ethan are still a couple but they’ve seen the chatter online and it’s not been easy. 

They don’t want their relationship to play out in public.”

Despite the speculation, the pair reportedly spent private time together after the premiere, with Ethan later joining Ariana at her hotel suite.

The source added that once the promotional whirlwind for Wicked: For Good wraps, the couple plan to take a break from the spotlight. 

When is Wicked: For Good set to release?

Wicked: For Good is set to hit cinemas on November 21, 2025, continuing the magical saga of Oz after the events of the first film. 

The story follows Elphaba Thropp (Cynthia Erivo), now branded the “Wicked Witch of the West,” as she hides from the Wizard’s oppressive regime, while her former best friend Glinda Upland (Ariana Grande) basks in glory as the beloved “Good Witch.” 

Despite her fame, Glinda remains haunted by her past and the choices that tore their friendship apart.
